Privacy Policy
How Barrett Web Studio handles the information you choose to share through this website.
Information you provide
You may voluntarily provide information through the website request form, the general question form, the consultation scheduling process, when starting a project, or when enrolling in a Website Care Plan. This can include your name, email address, phone number if you share it, business or organization name, information about an existing website, project details, the services or features you're interested in, a desired completion date, your message, and anything else you choose to submit.
How information is used
Information you submit is used to respond to your inquiry, discuss a potential website project, provide the communication you requested, prepare and discuss project scope, schedule consultations, record invoices and confirm payments you choose to make, operate and improve this website, and maintain necessary business communication.
Project agreements and electronic signatures
When you sign a project agreement in the client portal, Barrett Web Studio records the agreement text, your typed legal name, the email address on your signed-in account, and the date and time of signature. This information is used to document what both parties agreed to and to maintain the project and payment record.
Stored project and business records
Information connected to inquiries and client projects may be stored using the website's cloud database service so Barrett Web Studio can manage inquiries, project information, project status, revision requests, invoices, client portal access, care plan status, and related business records. Only the information needed to run these projects is kept.
Client accounts and sign-in
Existing clients may be given an account or a secure email sign-in link so they can open their client portal. Standard authentication and session technology is used to keep clients signed in and to keep private areas of the website restricted to the person they belong to.
Payments
Payments are sent through Venmo, a third-party payment service, under its own privacy and security practices. Barrett Web Studio does not collect or store card or bank details through this website. This website records only invoice details such as the amount, the invoice number, its status, whether you indicated a payment was sent, and the date a payment was confirmed.
Scheduling with Calendly
Barrett Web Studio uses Calendly, a third-party scheduling service, when you choose to book a consultation. If you use the scheduling feature, you may provide information directly to Calendly, and Calendly's own privacy practices apply to that information.
Transactional email
A transactional email service is used to deliver inquiry notifications, confirmations, receipts, portal access links, and other service messages related to your inquiry or project.
Service providers
Trusted third-party service providers may process limited information as needed to operate this website and deliver the services you request. These currently include consultation scheduling, cloud database and authentication infrastructure, and transactional email delivery. Payments are handled separately through Venmo.
No sale of personal information
Barrett Web Studio does not sell personal information submitted through this website.
Data retention
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, maintain appropriate business records, provide services, resolve disputes, or meet legitimate business or legal obligations.
Data security
Reasonable measures are used to protect the information you submit, including access restrictions on private client areas. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your requests
You can email hello@barrettwebstudio.com with privacy questions or reasonable requests about information you previously submitted, including deletion requests where appropriate.

This website may link to third-party websites or services. Barrett Web Studio is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.
